Jord Watch Review and Giveaway

A few months ago, I came across Jord watches on Instagram and was immediately captivated by the idea of a wooden watch. The timepieces looked beautiful and unique, yet versatile enough to go with any wardrobe. Recently, Jord reached out and gave Derrick the opportunity to try a gorgeous men’s watch and let you all know what he thinks.

Derrick chose the Frankie Series with a Zebrawood band and a navy face (found here), which he has been so happy with. As someone who is either dressed up, or completely casual, his watches tend to also be one of the two extremes. That is, until he started wearing this one. The Zebrawood has multiple tones to it, which has made it possible for him to wear the watch with almost any outfit he chooses. He has been able to dress it up, dress or down, or just wear it casually, and it looks amazing.

Now, I know this review has mostly been about the style of this unique watch, so let’s talk about function. The Frankie Series is super lightweight. Like, so lightweight, that he doesn’t even feel like he is wearing a watch. I don’t know about you, but that’s appealing to me (I might be jealous of him)! The face is powered by a Swiss movement with sapphire crystal glass, and is easy and simple to read, which, let’s be real, what’s the point of a watch, if you can’t read it?

If you’re interested in a Jord watch for yourself or as a gift (hello, holiday season!), we have partnered with Jord to give one lucky winner a $75 coupon toward a watch.
